Mimi Escobar

Physical Therapist

Mimi Escobar received a BS in Health and Physical Education from Appalachian State University with a teaching certification and competed on the swimming team.  She continued her education at East Carolina University earning a BS in Physical Therapy in 1986.  Mimi has over 30 years of outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine experience.  Mimi is also trained and certified in FMS, Integrative Dry Needling and SASTM.  She is also a certified Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates Instructor.

Mimi has been a member of the RunnerPeeps running club for many years and has used her previous marathon, half marathon, and trail running experience to help other runners return to their sport.  Outside of work she enjoys her church, paddle boarding, Pilates and traveling.  She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Carlos and two daughters and son in laws, and her grand dogs!

Our three-fold commitment to you begins with our highly qualified physical therapy staff, including ABPTS Board Certified Specialists.  Our physical therapy services include Dry NeedlingFunctional Movement Screen (FMS), Sports Physical Therapy, Postural Restoration (PRI)Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SASTM), Vestibular Rehab and Other PT Services. Our licensed physical therapists provide one-on-one sessions lasting 45-minutes. They are committed to maintaining a warm and loving atmosphere and designing individualized treatment plans that meet your unique needs and challenges.  We’ll empower you with education, home exercise programs, and options for rehab-based fitness to transition you back to an active lifestyle that will keep you healthy!
