Matt McDougal

Matt McDougal is originally from Raleigh and earned his BS from Appalachian State University in Exercise Science.  During this time he first met Luke to gain shadowing experience for PT school and felt an immediate connection with the clinic.  He later continued his education by obtaining his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Elon University in 2017 and has experience in orthopedic rehabilitation.  Matt has been heavily influenced by the Functional Movement System as a clinician and is certified with the Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Functional Movement Screen, Fundamental Capacity Screen, and Integrated Dry Needling.  Matt heads up our gymnastics rehab services and provides on-site care at Raleigh School of Gymnastics.

Outside the clinic Matt enjoys running, disc golf, travelling, and spending time with his wife, Elizabeth.
